Vulnerability Management | Detect and Response

Core Lifecycle:

• Asset Management: know what is on your network

• Vuln Management: Know what vulns are across your assets

• Threat Prioritization: Sort Detections based off of your Risk

• Response: Patch deployment

Use Workflow:

1. Install Cloud Agent: install to target hosts

2. (From Cloud Agent) Assign these assets to a CA Configuration Profile that has PM enabled

3. (From Cloud Agent) Activate PM modules

4. (PM Application) Assign target assets to PM Assessment Profile to preform scans at cadence. The scans can also be done by Qualys Vuln Management which then triggers PM.

5. Allocate Patching License and build patch jobs

6. Deploy/Uninstall patches
